LSPEC 130 neutron measuring instrument

The LSPEC 130 neutron meter is designed to measure the circumneutron dose equivalent with excellent energy and angular response and can be used as a portable or stationary meter. The energy response of the detector was optimized by the moderating body composed of carbon doped polyethylene and cadmium doped heavy metal and the He-3 neutron counter tube. The parameters of the moderating sphere were calculated by MCNP simulation.
